DLC Ecommerce.

We run the parts of an online store that nobody wants to run.

DLC Ecommerce is a two-person operations firm. We take over the catalog, the storefront, the order flow, and the customer email for small direct-to-consumer brands, so the people who make the product can go back to making it.

Services

Ongoing operations, not a project handoff.

Engagements are continuing and monthly. We work inside your systems and accounts — you own everything we touch.

Storefront management

Day-to-day Shopify administration: theme changes, page and collection structure, navigation, apps, and site build work.

Product catalog and data

Products, variants, pricing, barcodes and product identifiers, images, and the descriptive data that feeds sales channels.

Inventory and order operations

Stock levels, availability policy across channels, order and fulfillment flow, and the exceptions that come with a seasonal product.

Lifecycle email

Welcome and post-purchase sequences, list management, and campaign sends. Built as drafts and reviewed before anything goes to a customer.

Sales channel setup

Product listings and feeds for channels beyond the storefront, and the data hygiene those channels require to keep serving.

Reporting

A monthly written account of what shipped, what changed, and what needs a decision. Delivered with the invoice.

Scope

Where the line sits.

Being specific about what we don't do has saved more engagements than any list of what we do.

We handle

  • Storefront, catalog, and site build work
  • Inventory and order operations
  • Customer email and lifecycle flows
  • Sales channel listings and product feeds
  • Monthly reporting and recommendations

We don't handle

  • Warehousing, packing, or shipping physical goods
  • Paid advertising spend or ad account management
  • Accounting, bookkeeping, or tax filing
  • Legal, regulatory, or food-safety compliance
  • Anything that moves your money without your approval

Billing

How an engagement is priced and paid.

Every engagement is quoted individually before any work begins. The structure below is the same for all of them.

  1. A written scope and rate, agreed before work starts

Pricing is a flat monthly service fee plus, where it fits the business, a variable component tied to volume shipped. No hourly billing and no surprise line items.

  2. Work is performed through the month

Continuing operations inside your own accounts and systems.

  3. An invoice is issued after the month closes

Sent by email through Stripe, itemized, with the monthly report attached. You are billed for work already performed, never in advance.

  4. Payment is due within 15 days

Pay by bank debit (ACH), card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Link, from a secure link in the invoice. No account to create.
